Founded in 2000, the Center for Technology Management, CTM at PSG Institute of Management, is a knowledge center sponsored by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, DSIR, Ministry of S&T, Govt. of India, New Delhi with an objective to promote & facilitate Technology Management in Indian industries. The center is engaged in creating awareness about Management of Technology and offer guidance and assistance to industries fostering sustainable development. The center acts as a hub, working in close cooperation with industries, R&D organizations, educational institutions, and researchers and provides information in the distinct areas viz.

Need for Technology Management
The present day industrial scenario is characterised by trends like enhanced frequencies of innovations, shortening of techno-economic life cycles, rapid commercialization of new techologies, globalization of trans-nationals, and intensive multinationals participation in R&D projects.In this context, the need to understand both business and techology, and ability to manage the various aspects concerned with technology has become very important.
